A moment comes, some days of course, when you will be okay with not being okay, with not doing, acting, achieving or accomplishing anything beyond the basics that must be done to sustain living. It is a winter and you are hibernating for self preservation.
You are aware of what is expected of you but you just do not seem to be in the frame to do much. You are not lazy neither fatigued but you do not want to engage, command or initiate. You lose interest fast and approach every task like it were a chore. Even the things you love to do are strange to you and distant. What is happening to you? You have no strength to fight neither for flight.
This is not the same thing with neglect where you know what you ought to do, you can do it but chose not to do it. This is a choice you make. When you are going through a winter of sorts it obviously makes no sense but you have to endure. Nothing lasts and soon you will be in your confident state of mind again. You will be tackling those curve balls life throws your way squarely. Do whatever you have to do to minimize consequences during your time out. The goal is to get more done with the least effort and resistance.
